A House at the Dead End

A House at the Dead End
A House at the Dead End

The “Loneliness” photo series is one of those that was filmed long time ago. At that point, I was very bad at how to perform a beautiful color correction and had no knowledge of Photoshop. Yet, as I attended a couple of erotic photography workshops, I immediately started to experiment.

Even in those years, I wasn’t interested in glamourous photos of the ladies taken in photo studios. At that moment, I decided to photograph only in residential rooms.

I filmed this photo series in my relatives’ old country house that I used as a photo studio for a couple time. The location was valuable for very old, but neat repairs, a big number of accessories and furniture.

At that time,  I didn’t really think about the plot, story, model’s emotions, and other important aspects of photography. I’d just ask the lady to take a beautiful, in my opinion, pose, and take a picture.

Yet, there was something… Once, before that photoshoot, I saw on a bookshelf a book called “A house at the dead end”. I’ve no idea why the house I was running this photoshoot in looked exactly like that house at the dead end. The old house that had experienced a lot of happy moments, saw so many faces and emotions, was now abandoned… It’s very old and looks like it was given up on… Somehow, I wanted to show a lonely woman in this house, who has her own thoughts and concerns…
