Not so long ago, NYMF published a series of photos from my workshop in Mexico City called “Girl with a bicycle”, where a wonderful girl named Mar was the model. Communicating with her was easy and enjoyable. At the end of the master-class, I suggested that the girl could have a more frank photo session in shower. And she didn’t hesitate to agree.

You know, there are girls who have something more besides their native and natural beauty. A kind of magnetism, a wild and one can say pristine sexiness. That’s what I saw in Mar. A real fire was blazing in her eyes and it could be felt in absolutely everything: in her movements, her manner of conversation, her smile and eyes.

Early in the morning on the day of the session, I went to see the Mayan Pyramids – one of the Wonders of the World that has reached us through the millennia. I was very inspired by this tour. The Pyramids emitted a kind of energy that could hardly be described in words. When I returned to the hotel, Mar was already waiting for me at the reception. I don't know why, but looking into her eyes I felt about the same as when I was seeing those very pyramids. 

Taking photos in a small bathroom was difficult enough. Literally in few minutes of shooting, the whole room was filled with steam and it was almost impossible to take photos. The camera lens instantly fogged up and I had to wipe it down with a tissue every 10 seconds to take a picture. 

Mar… She was so beautiful and graceful. Drops of water flowed beautifully across her body, and the drawing light from the window drew its perfect lines. Perhaps the Maya who built those great pyramids were also inspired by the beauty of their women.

Half an hour later we finished this photo session. Such a seemingly simple one, without a complicated idea and preparation. But when I look at those photos my heart begins to beat faster, which means that the photos are a true success. We are now very far apart, but the photos taken that day will remain with us forever.
