I particularly liked dancing alone: a partner or a dance group required strict adherence to choreography, while I wanted to break out of these frames and dance in my own unique way. Hence, when I became a professional choreographer, I wanted to not only choreograph dance routines and teach others, but I was also dreaming about my own dance, solo performances, and my audience.
