She removed the thin layer of plaster from herself and carefully placed it on a wooden table – now it was the frozen shadow of her inspiration. Lily slowly walked along the shelves where her props for future productions were stored. Among the brushes, fabrics, and antique vases, her gaze fell on a woven Chinese hat, light as a breath of wind. Next to it lay long ropes made of coarse twine, and in their weight she sensed a new symbol: connection, strength, and the submissiveness of form.
